Vego’s is an Adelaide institution. With mosaic framed pictures, record sleeves and images of old time film stars such as Marilyn Monroe adorning its walls it makes it the perfect home away from your best friends share house.

Sitting comfortably at a table with mismatched retro kitsch decor and listening to beautiful folk tracks you are instantly transported to a place of delicious adventures including soups, salads and of course, the burgers! Favourites are the VAMBurger which is filled to the brim with beetroot and alfalfa and The Mediterranean burger with olive tapenade.

You can then wash your meal down with an amazing home-made juice or shake. Heads up! The vegan chocolate is mind blowing, and if you really want to go all the way, the vegan chocolate icecream is quite possibly the most delectable treat around. The place is always packed so your best bet it to go real early or a bit later to beat the rush.

If you’re looking for somewhere to fill you up for a very small price this magnet for vegans is the place for you.
