Coco Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Toni Maticevski, Christian Dior and Kit Willow. Maverick designers have long sung duets with ballet. And the latest designers to catch pointe shoe fever are Alpha60, who teamed up with The Australian Ballet to stitch something up.

The product of this union is a typical Alpha60 monochromatic image printed onto a loose-fitting, unisex tee. The design in question? Four businessmen – each appropriately suited and briefcase-wielding – wander down a Parisian avenue and approach the camera. One, however, is inexplicably sporting a tutu and pointe shoes, natch.

In other words, the image is everything we have come to know and love about Alpha60: wry, irreverent, and unapologetic. The tee is available to a select few crossdressers; there are only 100 available, each with their own hand-numbered swing tag to prove it.
