There is almost nothing closer to pure joy than dancing about like an idiot and not caring. Dancing Room is all about this joy. Once a week, often on a Tuesday night, come rain or shine, the Dancing Room brings you an hour and a half of plain old dancing. Two different DJs each week keep it fresh, and it’s regularly based at the Reading Room on Hindley Street but often ventures to the Rymill Park island or the Elder Park rotunda. This time around it is a ‘Mystery Night’. Ooh! Secret instructions: meet at the rotunda promptly at 10pm dressed as your favourite jungle creature. Code word: bufo marinus.
