Once upon a time a little girl was bored out of her brain in Mount Gambier. She was so fed up she decided to get out of that quaint little town with the big blue lake and head to the big smoke. But she found herself in a quandary, that’s a "state of perplexity or uncertainty over what to do in a difficult situation" kiddies. The situation was, Adelaide or Melbourne? She chose Melbourne but she never forgot the ‘Mount’, she loved the ‘Mount’, so she created a festival. It’s called Hot Licks and it has a bunch of Melbourne bands, so it’s kinda like a road trip to Melbourne, but only 4 hours.
