I can’t say I listen to much techno, the closest thing I got to it was that ‘Here’s Johnny‘ hit from the 90s. Embarrassing I know. Anyway, just take one look at Sam Songailo’s abstracts and you’ll go on some kind of trip. Line’s and directions seemingly shoot around in an organised and refined chaos as he lets the process dictate the product. Art kinda like techno really, linear yet potentially complex, apparently straight forward but deeply textured and interwoven. Well that’s good techno anyway and definitely not ‘Here’s Johnny’.
