UP: Experimental Photography Of The Sky

If you’ve just spent six weeks lying flat on your back at the beach/backyard/botanic gardens, then you’ve probably seen enough sky to last the entire year, right? You’ve definitely got your cumulus separated from your cirrus, and that sunset mix of lilac and peach is imprinted in your brain. Photographers Alex Bishop-Thorpe, Alice Blanch and James Taylor also like sky-gazing, but have an alchemic touch when it comes to capturing it. The sky as a metaphor is not a new concept, but that’s by no means an excuse not to revisit it, six weeks of lazing about or not.
