Clubhouse Lane Boutique

Like many other lazy children born in the 80s, I never bothered to finish an entire novel on fairytales because I could easily pop a tape into the VCR and relish its technicoloured equivalent. While literate, prepubescent hipsters berated their less-cultivated counterparts (like myself), I was more than happy to enjoy the art of the humble videocassette, letting talking animals and menopausal witches take me on journeys my mind was too tired to tread upon by itself.

Kelly and Georgie of Clubhouse Lane Boutique seem to share my sentiment towards more visual expeditions, says the idiosyncratic interiors right down to its black porcelain panther on the floor. And even better, this wonderful wardrobe of it-girl (and boy) delights presents more than just a chockfull of fantastic fur coats. There are no disposable designer wares or racks filled with overpriced recycled clothing here. Like a miniature Narnia, this retail rendezvous is a precocious playground of carefully curated vintage and clothing from highly covetable labels from Australia and New Zealand such as Cybele, Who Am Eye and Stolen Girlfriends Club.

Delectable denim, succulent knit and whimsical floral skirts unite- you can forget about trolling through pages of paragraphs as a trip down to this particular walk-in wardrobe would clearly suffice.
