Stockholm Syndrome

Imagine a world where the tomatoes are born of cherubs, raised by angels and roasted by the gods. No need to pinch yourself when instead you can visit Stockholm Syndrome in Albion.

Reminiscent of the bare-brick, cosy, specialty cafes that have been popping up in Brisbane over the past few years, it’s Stockholm Syndrome’s Swedish twist that really makes it stand out amongst other on trend cafes.

There’s not much to complain about this stylish and sleek café bar. The coffee is super strong but skillfully smooth, their menu satisfyingly breaches the gap between being pleasantly affordable and deliciously eloquent, and the interiors are simple and comfortable. Alright maybe noisy traffic passing by on Sandgate Rd is worth a whinge, but once settled in it’s easy to ignore. The dreamy tomatoes sure help!

Stockholm Syndrome is a hazardously comfortable space, and the thought of spending an entire day there feasting on their addictive Swedish cuisine is highly tempting and dangerously possible. Better yet, you can actually sit there all day and surprisingly spend less than what you’d expect from such a refined and delicious menu.
