The Little Larder

Let’s be frank – eating at The Little Larder is sort of like dating an older (wo)man. It’s been around the block a few times, already has a well-established clientele, oozes experience and confidence, but is still open to the idea of picking-up younger, fresher, newer customers.

A decade of service will teach you a thing or two about surviving in the brunch business. Then there’s that coming-of-age Karate Kid moment when the student becomes the tutor. I don’t know if they strictly invented the grunge-chic-but-with-a-four-star-Eat-Safe-rating aesthetic, but it’s certainly plausible that this was the model other cafes have since imitated.

Apart from the polished concrete, band posters and rock’n'roll-ier than average mood music, the food is delicious, the breakfast an all-day affair, the juice freshly squeezed, and the coffee full of caffeine. Every meal taken at The Little Larder is an affair to remember.
