Probably the best thing about the Sonic Masala organised nights is that it puts bands together that you wouldn’t normally see on the same lineup. Good move, Brendan! Folks don’t want to see the same type of band four times in a night. I’d probably see psych-rockers, Dreamtime and ambient, Ghost Notes four times in one night though. Nobody’s seen Nikko/The Scrapes side project The Maryettas, but these demos should be enough motivation to check them out.
