Say what you want about those theatre kids from high school, they were the happiest weirdos around. If theatre is the key ingredient to cult-like life satisfaction, then praise be to Xenu, because it’s time for the World Theatre Festival 12 (yep, WTF?). There are polished productions from Australia and overseas, masterclasses for wannabe happy weirdos and unfinished, in-the-making theatre installations where audience feedback is welcome – from resounding cheers to blank stares.
