Chasing Bow
published on 12th May, 2010

I find I am starting to spend more and more time in the Paddington woods. Asides from great coffee and good breakfast haunts – there are a tribe of boutiques, bric-a-brac and antique stores manifesting along the ever-stretching strip.

One of the most notable of the above is Chasing Bow boutique, unsuspectedly tucked between a string of stores on Latrobe Terrace. Outside, an endearing shop front greets you with tiny birds peering out from the window. Inside, owner Kylie has a well-manicured space, only choosing the crème of the crop from local, national and international labels.

Female Brisbanites take note: find apparel and accessories from the likes of Lonely Hearts, Kloset, Limedrop, Deadly Ponies, Marnie Skillings, Ruby Smallbone and more. What you’ll find about Chasing Bow is that there is no specific agenda; find cocktail dresses nestled next to tees and heels making friends with flat lace-ups brogues. Just don’t underestimate this little shop as it sure has a big heart and an even bigger personality.
