Sly Guild online store
published on 20th October, 2011

If wanderlust can be described as “strong desire to travel” then I have tumblust. Having the best memes and images the internet has to offer thrown at me in what is essentially a vertical hieroglyph of joy is one of the few but crucial aspects of my personal heaven. In this roundabout manner I came to local (ok NZ) outfit Sly Guild, since they have a tight blog - discovered in a tumblust, brief moments before they got an online store.

Which they now have. The first thing that caught my eye was this bomb fiver. I thought it an excellent antidote to the ubiquitous Supreme standard, but checked with our Fashion Editor Angela just in case. She agreed, or seemed to. (Hey Angela, do you think these are awesome? “Could super-intelligent robots fuelled on Cheezels defeat a human army?”). Next were the wizard tees which I love the name and concept of but would have to Fashion Up a bit to wear, myself. More my thing are the batter tees, because this. And the fresh cruiser shirt with the boats is clubwear in the resort-iest sense. The full spring campaign is here – fellas, it features accesible clothing; ladies, it features a couple of dudes skating.

Lastly I asked Angela if she, also, hoped Sly Guild’s range would eventually include some Polo Suffield-Pant-esque joints to complement the shorts and she told me she had been raised not to ask questions you already know the answer to.
