Berwick Street, Soho
Saturday August 2, 2014
Berwick Street in Soho is one of central London's last bastions of real grit. Whilst the media industries have encroached from all sides, this street seems impervious to wholesale change. It still plays host to a market with many an interesting character strolling and shouting down it each day. Berwick Street is known also for its record stores, thrift shops, rag trade, street food, Flat White, Polpetto and, later this year, Alan Yau's renovation of the Endurance pub.
