Most landscape photography deserves to be used only for desktop wallpapers, tacky postcards and as the lining at the bottom of rubbish bins. Jon Butt and Vivian Cooper Smith are a notch above. Several notches. Their new collaborative exhibition Control Study shows off their knack for injecting oohs and aahs into a field littered with groans and yawns. Otherworldly, sure, but available to see here, in this world, at St Heliers Street Gallery in particular.
