MMW, Face the Music, Melbourne Music Industry panel

“I work in the music industry.” Mention it in certain company and you'll get the same cold-faced disdain as if you'd said you were a people smuggler or illegal body organ dealer. But despite what many think there are actually some good eggs in the old muzik biz. Some of them will be speaking on this panel as part of Face The Music’s 2012 Mentor Lounge project. While I go into gag reflex when I hear the term 'tastemaker' it's true that this lineup - including Quincy McLean and Helen Marcou from SLAM / Bakehouse Studios, Jerome Borazio (Laneway Festival / 1000 £ Bend) Hannah Fox and Tom Supple (pictured, Supple Fox / Melbourne Festival) and Sophia Brous (musician/broadcaster/curator) will have some cool and interesting stuff to say.
