Seventh Gallery December openings

Look who it is! It's your ol' buddies at Seventh Gallery and they come bearing gifts. We are excited to pass on the details of their last round of exhibitions for their 2012 program. In Gallery 1, Georgina Lee has crafted an oversized, interactive board game called Monopolife. In Gallery 2, Adean Madden has created an installation called Coming and Going which questions the relationship between pattern, the interior and the individual. In the Project Space we recommed COLLIDE-O by contemporary abstract painter Natalie Mather. A collection of works that investigate impact in terms of literal collisions, grand apocalyptic blasts and crashes in space. Showing on the Night Screen every night from 6pm to midnight with be Colby Cannon's Drag - a literal depiction of an individual carrying mental baggage through urban environments into a desolate expanse. The Workers Window will be showing Sports Illustrated by Blaine Cooper.

And, as promised, Metallica will be performing live in the foyer at the exhibition opening (TBC). Please note the opening will be held on a Tuesday this time as opposed to their usual Wednesday night regime.
