Zombie Espresso
published on 29th December, 2011

Jonna Gunn of Coffee Supreme and his friend Anthony Fewster hate this time of year – driving around, looking for the two cafes that are open. And aside from that, “no-one plays metal”. So they’ve set up their own coffee machine on the back of a ute parked at the end of Zombie Dance Lane in Brunswick. It is called Zombie Espresso, and it’s open today until 2pm and tomorrow 10am to 2pm.

They have two kinds of coffee: black and white (long or short), five milk crates, a plate of panforte, hand-made zombie cups and metal on the stereo. They also have a special grind called ‘Blend of the Undead’. It is, as one reanimated corpse on a crate remarked this morning, “pretty funny”.
