Chunky scarves! Better than chunky calves I think you’ll agree. I have been looking for these in Melbourne ever since Jason got my hopes up by pitching an article about Wool & The Gang and instead submitted a story about going to buy weed from a guy in Sunshine. Men. Anyway, this week I found them! They’re on Miss Click Clack’s stand at the Lost and Found Market. Chunky scarves and cowls in the riotous plum and mustard colours of autumn – and handwarmers to match.
Miss Click Clack is actually a lady named Kelly who has been knitting since she was four. She can whip up one of these cowls with her wide-guage, lightweight acrylic/wool blend and clickers in the time it takes me to smoke a bong and watch Law & Order. I do not know how she knits them in a circle shape, I will leave that for science to explain, but on behalf of my toasty earlobes I commend her handiwork to you all.
