Wednesday 17 October, 4.02pm. Good hustle guys, seriously, good hustle! No seriously… Good Hustle, you should check it out. It’s a new series of double-header gigs at the Abbotsford Convent’s Shadow Electric Bar - a venue is so impressive (and 18th century industrial-style creepy) that WHOBYFIRE is going to film every show.
Opening night on November 3 will feature the very talented big-synth moper Geoffrey O’Connor and the slightly tropical post punkers Lost Animal. Continuing on November 5, 10, 17, 24 and December 3, the line-ups include World’s End Press, Collarbones, Harmony, The Woohoo Revue, The Harlots, Olympia, Kira Puru and the Bruise, Teeth and Tongue, Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, The Cactus Channel, Melatonin, Clubfeet DJs and Sex on Toast. Places are limited to 200 each night, so there will be plenty of dance space and elbow room around the ping pong tables.
Tickets are on sale from today at the Good Hustle site. Updates via the Facebook.
