Sometimes a band comes up with an album name that so perfectly describes their sound it makes any music press fawning pretty much redundant. I read one review that described Pets with Pets’ debut Saturday Aquatic Pixie Acid as the ‘aural equivalent of candy anthrax’. That’s all well and good but to me their music sounds more like the aural equivalent of an aquatic pixie taking acid on a Saturday. So if you want to hear what that sounds like this Saturday head down to the Tote. They’re supported by Rat Vs Possum, Crayon Fields frontman Geoffrey O’Connor and Bum Creek.
