Bus Projects and Craft Victoria present ‘The Sound Playground’ opening night

Description:
Have you noticed? Experimental instruments are the new regular instruments. What’s that? You’ve got a drumkit? I’ve got a set of water-filled construction helmets and a spring onion clarinet. For their first off-site project since they’ve moved out of Bus Gallery, Bus Projects have collaborated with Craft Victoria to present The Sound Playground as part of the Liquid Architecture Festival. It’s curated by Tim Webster, Nella Themelios and Amelia Douglas and it’s at fortyfivedownstairs. Artists include Rod Cooper, Albert Mishriki and Ros Bandt, Emma Lashmar and Rowan McNaught – and they’re going to play their exhibition with special guests Sam Szoke-Burke, Nicholas Jones and Adam Sherry (A Dead Forest Index) three nights in July. – Us
