The invitation for Corky Saint Clair’s birthday party sings out like a clarion call, a list of over-capitalised imperatives that you should be loath to ignore. How much stuff can Christopher B. cram into his tiny, underground (literally) shop? A website launch, the launch of Michael Peck’s porcelain jewelery range, macaroons and cakes and a vaguely named, though tremendously intriguing, ‘multimedia fashion show’. There are giveaways at the oddy specific interval of every quarter hour. With so much on offer they better be careful, or the ceiling might collapse again. – KD
