Death Ghat describe themselves as NZ hardcore weirdos and, listening to their music, that description is pretty apt. New Zealanders, punks and weirdos are all cool in my book. They are playing the Grace Darling basement this Wednesday with like minded weird brigade Trench Sisters (featuring members of Extortion, 731, Roskopp and Terror Firma), Aktion Unit and the sonic bleakness that is the Bunyip Moon. If you need a mid-week dose of weird punk shit this one is not to be missed.
