Jarrad Kennedy is the tall, funny, nice guy up at Rooftop who won the Meredith Gift. I know this because my brother talks about him ALL the time. Oh did you know Jarrad is now having an exhibition at the Rooftop Art Space? Yeah, I know right. Jarrad is an artist. Jarrad’s an artist! And he’s made all of these things out of cardboard at the exhibition on Monday. You coming? You haven’t been to see Jarrad in ages. The milk crate is the central piece and it’s like the milk crate is some magical object appearing everywhere in the city. Which is kind of true right? I mean I hadn’t thought about it as some sort of shapeshifter until Jarrad was like… Sometimes I just tune out.
