Kellie Wells, Alesh Macak and Jordan Wood exhibition openings

Kellie Wells, who is exhibiting The Knight Series #2, “references imagery from the historical tapestry of traditional religious and cultural storytelling with specific interest in the creation and re-creation of our individual and collective experience of existence.” Alesh Macak’s The Human Remains is a multi-screen video installation exploring the tension between between the natural world and our desire to conceptualise it as just so much clockwork. Guess what though? The human remains. Atrophia by Jordan Wood also addresses dialectic contradiction using waste as a creative medium. All the usual chin strokers: the natural and  the artificial, construction and destruction, growth and decay.
