The Thousands

As the Y3K project nears its final noises, this incarnation is quite a special one, welcoming both Oscar Yanez and LOSTprojects of the Philippines. LOSTprojects is the alternative art space initiated by Australian artist David Griggs, situated in a little-known artery of the Industrial Valley in Manila. It exists as a platform of exchange between artists in Manila and Australia, in this instance uniting five artists of varying backgrounds in the group exhibition Salvation in a Nest of Vipers, a project that is ultimately concerned with photorealism beyond the picturesque. – REJ
