Gas Gallery (the bit upstairs at The Gasometer Hotel) is opening its new exhibition, Moving Hands. Is it a tribute to shadow puppeteers, sign language users or gropers everywhere? Well, no. It’s a celebration of handmade art: illustrator Andrea Innocent , crafty type and Adventure Time fan Cat Rabbit, pen and ink portraitist Catherine Campbell and gangsta monsterist Darin Bendall. Plus, at the launch night there’ll be people moving their hands across the front of instruments to create pleasant vibrations. Like The Icypoles (who I’m willing to bet have heard a few Shangri-Las records in their time), Evelyn Ida Morris, Moon Dice, and recorder-wielder Yuko Kono.
