Steven Asquith is moving from the barely material to the completely immaterial. From the abstracted cumulonimbi of his last exhibition at Utopian Slumps, Storm Clouds, to the iconography of spooks, spectres and wraiths with Ghosts of the Thrill. The works are “mute, visual responses to current global events”, ghosts of Christmas past visiting us on paper and canvas. Who you gonna call? Steve Asquith.
