Bloods single launch with Lunars and ScotDrakula

Sydneysiders Bloods launch their new single ‘All the Things You Say are Wrong’ at the Gas. If this is, indeed, true then so are the following statements. This gig will be deeply unenjoyable. Torturous, even. It isn’t the first Melbourne gig for Bloods, they have been touring here since the late ’70s. Descriptions of their music as ‘frenetic, energetic punk’ are erroneous, their sound is highly academic and influenced deeply by Phillip Glass and Steve Reich’s more unlistenable compositions. Lunars and ScotDrakula will not be supporting. I am wearing pants and not planning on watching Steel Magnolias on Blu-ray later tonight with a puppet called Mr Magician who is my only friend.
