In this short film, The Pines are where Mark the shoe factory worker ends up after countless failed auditions and coming home to a girlfriend called Sally. It looks to be one of creepy cautionary tales that do so well on the festival circuit, and you can see it in 1000 £ Bend’s mezzanine cinema space before it starts doing its laps. – REJ
