Here’s a story: once upon a time, Jon Bennet started a monthly storytelling evening at the Willow Bar. One day, he decided on the theme of “Friends and Frenemies”. For this, he invited Paul Nelson, Simon Taylor, Teagan Marie Higginbotham, Ryan Walker, Robert Mond and Tommy Dassalo. They told all sorts of stories. Towards the end of the night, even the audience members got up to share some stories of their own. However, there was an undercurrent of narrative tension that led to a dramatic conflict. “Will it ever resolve?” they wondered. It resolved. The end.
