Maybe you don’t want to keep track of the dreary bits and pieces that make up your existence. But waiting for trains, cycling in the rain, buying groceries and dealing with difficult housemates – this is your life people. Still, is it interesting reading? Talk to Alex Clark. Deciding to document three months of her life in comic form may have been crazy if it didn’t make such fun reading. I mean, it may have not been fun for her all the time.
Follow Alex as she gets ‘an attack of the no brains’ after a romantic encounter, (‘Turns out cycling doesn’t cure No-Brains’). Devours all of Neil Gaiman’s comics too quickly and deals with having to do all the packing when a (former) housemate does nothing to prepare for the moving van coming the following day. It’s a little bit like having a good catch-up with a friend. Real life is definitely best filtered through a comic lens.
