m.e & co

So I was walking past the Frenchies (La Niche. So French.) the other day and what do you know it? That intensely awful shop that sold leggings has been replaced by a crisp white beautiful one. NO LEGGINGS TO BE SEEN. Thank the christ of Smith Street I thought, and walked on in to find the most beautiful couple – Mark and Emily.

Turns out Mark and Emily live upstairs but not so long ago they lived in Robinvale, Mildura picking grapes to save the cash for their shop. Over the past month they have fitted out the space – dedicating the left side of it to males and the right side to females – with jewellery, shoes, underwear and basics through the middle.

Male labels include Velour, SUIT, Weathered, Brooklyn Tailors (arriving soon), December Forever shoes and basics by Mark’s own label m.e & co. Lady labels include Blak, Huffer, UZI, Funkis, Drown, Sara Lasry and Emily’s own lingerie label Emily Jane.

Price points. The price points are great. Who knew you could buy something that looks nice from a couple of nice people without covering yourself in a thin layer of sweat because you have somehow justified yet another fashion “investment”.
