OP’s Tavern
published on 24th August, 2011

When Bobby Dazzlers re-opened as La Bohème, we knew things in Perth were getting way fancy. Craving a decent chicken parmi, we followed a bunch of tradies out of the city to OP’s Tavern. This place is Osborne Park’s most relaxed drinking hole; it’s all about drinking pints on comfy rooftop couches and eating pies in your trackie dacks.

While OP’s gets a lot of attention from tight-arse Brazillian backpackers who crawl out of Scarborough’s surf to make the most of six buck cocktails during Happy Hour, the meals are huge and decently priced, so instead of forking out for sides and salads you can spare change for bottles of genuine Duff Beer. The daggy green carpet, 90s- priced drinks and embarrassing disco tunes might just be the kind of ‘fancy’ you’re looking for.
