Korres

Greek men: they’re all called Nico or Kostas, have oily biceps and lots of black chest hair, and work on fishing boats. A type of Greek man less familiar to us is the one who dedicates his life to distilling perfumes and oils from wild roses and lavender to create an astounding range of natural skincare products. His name is George Korres, and in 1996 he swapped smelly fish for smelly creams, opening up Athens’ first ever homeopathic pharmacy. Trust us when we tell you that we haven’t seen his biceps, but George Korres is one hot Greek man, and you want him on your face.

Korres is basically like a beauty cult in Greece: apparently every second household uses Korres’ products (a far-fetched rumour told to me by a shop assistant, but that if true, mysteriously goes someways to explain why Greek people are so ridiculously beautiful). As if its not cute enough that some old Greek dude has dedicated his days to making nice eye creams, Korres’ products are the kind that smell so good you can’t resist opening every single tub in the shop to bury your nose in, and wait ‘til you check Korres’ packaging: ingredients and titles and directions are written in the Greek alphabet!

A down to earth product line that will make your skin glow so hard people will start asking how your summer in Athens was (you tell them you had a wild time with a beautiful Greek man named George Korres).
