Okay, so Christmas can be a pretty problematic affair for a lot of people. With religious belief being on the general downturn and cultural diversity making things even more complicated, you just can’t be sure who’s going to appreciate the front yard nativity set and Yuletide choir medleys. Thankfully, there is an alternative to Saint Nicholas themed Christmas cards and Jesus covered wrapping paper, and that is the all too rare art of marbling.

Marbling is more than just a hobby for creating the vibrant dreamscapes of your umm…dreams. It’s also an excellent gift-wrapping option for the non-believing pacifist who still wants to get in on the holiday cheer with none of the secular guilt. There are people out there devoting themselves to making whirring psychedelia you can use and giving you the option to buy. You could say you’re just switching the Lord Almighty for the Almighty Dollar but you know, baby steps.
