The paint-induced hallucinations are slowly subsiding. Emerging from the fumes, a bunch of dizzy artists can finally rest, content in the knowledge that they’ve transformed a lifeless, grey carpark into one of the largest permanent street art exhibitions that this town – nay, this hemisphere – has ever seen.
It has taken 12 months, 60-plus local street artists, serious fumes and a fat bag of nozzles to make the five level Condor Tower Carpark a work of art. Even more mind blowing than this? The thought that for one night only, we’re going to be partying in this space. Keep the cars outside – these 2P spots are strictly art only.
