Venn Summer Show
published on 11th January, 2012

Did you make it out to all of Venn’s exhibitions in 2011? Really? You did? ALL of them?  Well good for you, smarty pants. But if you’re like me, there was at least one show you missed. Maybe you just really, really had to see what happened in Game of Thrones. Whatever, no one’s judging you.

The good news is that Venn’s Summer Show assembles works from eight artists who exhibited at the space last year, including works from Alan Jones’s Wyalkatchem, Matt Doust’s Recollections and Obsessions, Clare Davies’ Island Life, Joel Wynn Rees’ Australia’s Greatest Hits, Tane Andrews’ [Re-Formation] Adapting Impermanence, Jackson Eaton’s Immagical Thought Museum and more. Even if you did see all of the shows, you should probably check this out in case the juxtapositions create new work through context. Or something.
