When Ya Ya’s say they are hosting a ‘vintage’ dance party, they don’t mean a bunch of early ’90s rap is on the cards. They’re talking a wide selection of ’50s through to ’70s goodness. This month is for the heartbreakers and the heartbroken – expect lively, upbeat tunes (you can count on ‘Tainted Love’ being spun), as well as slow numbers from the likes of Etta James. Single or taken, when resident DJ Agent Double O Soul and Big Ear Chad from Dada Records play they will give you plenty to wriggle your hips to! If you’re not feeling the dancing, then the cheap drink specials and the love beat will get you in the end.
