The Sebel Residence East Perth
published on 21st June, 2011

You know those people who always manage to look effortlessly cool? They don’t necessarily spend a motza on clothes, but every detail is careful and considered, and they carry themselves with confidence. The Sebel is one of those people in hotel format, stylishly perched alongside the Claisebrook Cove in the urban sanctuary that is East Perth.

The Sebel’s studio rooms are great for a night, but the apartments are where it’s at.  Each one has river or city views to take in from a cute adjoining balcony, and all the amenities you need to hole up for months at a time, as if you were Johnny Marco at the Chateau Marmont. Fridge, dishwasher – it’s all here – plus some things we’ve never heard of before, such as charging your IGA shopping bill to your hotel room number. Buy now, think later.

The free Yellow Cat bus runs right past the Sebel’s door, so the city is an easy destination, but we’d recommend hiring a Mongoose bike from reception (you’ll see them lined up and ready to go on the boardwalk), and take a leisurely pedal around the Swan.
