‘Feast Your Eyes’ Festival
published on 13th October, 2011

What if we removed the gruesome rat race from our gracious city spaces? The hundreds of people wearing the same, itchy-looking office attire, anxiously striding towards any number of identical-looking, glassy grey buildings, desperate not to be late, afraid of disappointing their mean, balding, overweight bosses.

15 visual and installation artists (including Simon Boxer, Cherish Marrington, Anya Brock and Amber Harries) have utopian visions for our city spaces: their works will be on display in an outdoor gallery at FAC for Feast Your Eyes: City Spaces. In case the art doesn’t feed your hunger, there are pizzas from The Raw Kitchen and Frank The Butcher manning a BBQ. There will also be an outdoor mini-cinema screening local works, live painting, and music from The Voltaire Twins and The Lonely Brothers.
