The buying and collecting of vinyl has all but taken a backseat to the digi-download. Whilst ‘right click save as’ affords a certain amount of instant gratification, it squirts on the gratification that comes from holding Peter Saville’s Happy Mondays on a 12" square canvas.

Jeremiah prefers the latter type of thrill. Even though we’re not entirely sure who he is, he’s come out of nowhere to coordinate a giant record fair on a Sunday afternoon, so we love him. Encouraging Sunday night pizza’n'pint punters to The Scotsman a little earlier, rare LPs and other vinyl bits will be available to browse while Jeremiah spins some dirty crackle in the background. Now that’s gratifying.
