Day for Night: 24 hours at Performance Space

Two consecutive 12 hour days exploring and celebrating diversity through multifaceted and multidisciplinary queer performance. Day for Night: 24 hours draws together leading queer Australian and International artists, and involves a short program of parties, lectures, performances, installations, and music.

Hollcombe Waller's Requium Massis a deeply moving, personal work, involving a chorale of singers, which invokes rememberance and a semblance of peace for the dead who have suffered oppression based on their sexual orientation or expression of gender.

Emma Price's 24 H(our) DINER will be an ever changing installation, inviting patrons both in the day and night to bask in a strange world of queer space and times. Rumour is you may even be able to nab a donut and a coffee at this one.

These two are just the tip of the 24 hour iceberg…
