If you were looking for a new place to have dinner in Darlinghurst, then you will be very very very happy.
Two weeks ago, a cosy and delightful Italian restaurant opened on Victoria Street, as hidden as a Melburnian diner and as welcoming as your mother’s kitchen.**The setting is simple: one communal table in the middle of the tiny room (it’s like the last supper every night), a menu written on a big black wall, an open and noisy kitchen in the corner and big platter of fresh pasta drying on one end of the table. The owners are so happy to have opened up their table that they frequently stop for a chat (and to occasionally apologize for beinga little bit maladroit)…so cute! Reasonable prices, good food and friendly service all in the one place – yes, it does exist in the heart of this crazy city.
