Arras Too
published on 6th October, 2011

What Plan B was to Becasse, Arras Too will be to restaurant Arras. This is a freak occurrence where the little bro is born first; the parallel universe where Frasier came before Cheers. Arras the restaurant is still a construction site, and even the on-site kitchen is at least a week away from completion, but in the meantime owner chefs Adam and Lovaine Humphrey have been baking at home and quietly selling the goods via this sidekick.

The home-baked offering varies from day to day, and could be dense meaty Yorkshire pies or sausage rolls, gooey scotch eggs, a simple prosciutto pissaladière, along with a selection of sweet pastries that might include peanut butter choc chip cookies and custard tarts. Vegetarians may currently struggle in the savoury department, but sandwiches on house-baked bread are coming soon.

Diverting from the usual cafe blackboard menu, Arras Too toes the line of its CBD locale and presents its menu on a whiteboard. If it starts to feel a little corporate, stick a scotch egg in your five point plan and smoke it.
