As the name suggests, most EAT/DRINKS are just about things that you eat and drink. This particular review is about so much more. It’s also about super-human feats and the importance of a personal touch.

The Boom Banana guys dish out the freshest sandwiches and juice this side of Noosa, but that’s only half of the appeal. What truly makes the experience stand out is their incredible Jedi-like memory power.

Even when their sliver of a store is packed, the elite team of three behind the bar can recall your face, your preferred sandwich and juice, or commit to memory the most complicated of bread and filling combinations.

With the exception of the Tool Shed, Oxford Street is not renowned for intimacy, so this special treatment feels like a cool Southerly on a hot summer’s day and makes Boom Banana a must-stop-shop for anyone who feels lonely and needs a great lunch.
