Nestled amongst fruit shops and take away joints behind Bondi Beach is tiny pizza eatery Doughboy. With a range of fresh ingredients and the simplicity of Italian traditional flavours, this buzzing hideout is a favourite with the locals, and is a food critic’s dream. The rustic wooden stools out the front and simple décor, make for informal dining.**Doughboy only serves traditional thin crust pizzas, the selection of toppings enough to make a simple decision extremely difficult. Toppings range from ‘Napoli’ bocconcini, anchovy, capers, garlic and fresh basil to the ‘Carnevale’ goats curd, Italian sausage, roasted capsicum, olives and fresh basil There’s also a fetta and spinach pizza, chicken and sun dried tomato and a salmon number.
Try the olive bread for something different… the pesto drizzled olive infused calzone left our neighbors drooling with food envy.
