Fratelli Fresh

Picture this scene: Fresh fruit… picked daily we’re sure. It’s some of the healthiest produce you’ll ever see. It sits comfortably on rustic wood boxes opposite a cheese fridge that’s bursting at the seams with the most amazing cheese-wheels known to man. Shelves are stacked with homemade preserves, fresh pasta abounds and dewy faced staff are scurrying about offering advice and spraying veggies to keep them fresh.**And what soundtrack might you expect at this Frutelli Fresh experience? Vivaldi? The Three Tenors? No, No – it’s frikkin’ house music. Pumping like a Muscle Mary at Gold’s gym. Making your ears throb and impairing your judgement. What is it with Sydney’s preoccupation with bad house music in very inappropriate environments? We love Fratelli Fresh’s Dank Street space – it’s our little piece of Tuscany in town. However, we desperately hope they loose their Ministry of Sound CDs (mixed by Mark Dynamix).
