I know it’s a pretty broad statement but I think Koko Espresso Bar on Holt Street has the best coffee in Sydney…well maybe that is a gross generalisation…but it’s at least the best you will find in Surry Hills.

People come far and wide to get a flat white here. While I’m lucky enough to have my studio right around the corner, I have been known to venture down out of office hours just to experience the joy. **While the coffee and the very friendly service from owner Phil are definitely Koko highlights, the food is great too. I highly recommend the chicken schnitzel sandwich, and if you’re suffering a hangover, you can’t go past the bacon and egg sandwich with gruyere cheese and relish.
